   How do I change my password?
    Please visit the Support Center and send us a request. Be sure to include your username and your old and new passwords.

   Free Membership
   What is free on SwingerADS and what do I have to pay for?
    Click here for a chart that compares the benefits of a paid VIP membership vs. the standard free membership. Our goal is to allow you the opportunity to try almost everything SwingerADS has to offer for free. If you like SwingerADS, then we hope that you will consider becoming a VIP member. Since our VIP members are paying customers, we treat them like royalty.
   Why was my account suspended?
    90% of all account suspensions are the result of multiple account signups. SwingerADS only allows one free account per person, group, couple, or computer system. If you are unsure why your account was suspended, please contact us for help.
   How do I close my SwingerADS account?
    If there is something that you need help with, or if there is something you don't like, please let us know before you decide to cancel your account. If you are sure you want to cancel, just click here to go to the Account Termination Request form.
   VIP Membership
   How do I cancel my VIP membership?
    If you signed up for a recurring billing membership, then you can click here to cancel your membership. If you purchased a one time membership, then there is no need to cancel. When your VIP membership expires, you will automatically be converted back to a FREE member.
   Ads
   How do I delete my ad?
    When you click on My Account you will see your ad(s) at the top of the page. Simply click on the link that says "CLICK HERE TO DELETE THIS AD" next to the ad that you want to delete.
   Is there a limit to how many ads I can search?
    VIP members can search an unlimited number of ads. Free members are limited to searching 100 ads. This is a lifetime limit. Once you go over that limit, you will need to be a VIP member to search ads.
   How come some ads do not have a profile link on them?
    SwingerADS changed its format on September 5, 2002. Prior to that date we did not require registration. Any ads placed prior to September 5, 2002 will not have a profile link unless the person or couple who placed the ad has since registered and requested that we link their ad with their new profile. As time goes on and old ads are removed, all ads will have a profile link.
   Email
   How do I change my email address?
    Please visit the Support Center and send us a request. Be sure to include your username and your correct email address.
   How do I delete an email?
    Please visit the Email Center to view your email. To the left of every email you will see a trash can logo with a green recycle symbol on it. Click on this logo next to the email that you want to delete.
   Do deleted emails count toward my sending limit?
    Free members are limited to sending 10 emails. The system counts the number of emails that have been sent, regardless of whether they are subsequently deleted or remain in your outbox.
   Can I place my real email address in SwingerADS internal email?
    Yes, you can type anything you want in your internal SwingerADS email. (With the exception of rude or threating language) We do suggest though that you DO NOT post your email address. This will help you reduce spam and remain anonymous if things don't work out. This goes for real names, phone numbers and any other personal information: Don't give out personal information.
   Can I get back an email that I accidentally deleted?
    Yes, for a limited time, we are able to retrieve deleted emails for you. Please click here and email us your request.
   The time is wrong on my SwingerADS internal email, how do I fix that?
    Go to My Account and update your Time Zone in the PERSONAL FACTS section. If you do not have a time zone specified, all times will be Pacific Time.
   I read my email so why does the home page still indicate that I have new mail?
    All of the email that you receive must be read for this message to go away. Be sure that you don't have any email in your inbox with a status of NOT READ.
   How can I block someone from sending me email?
    Open the email you received from the person you want to block. Then click the button next to their username that says, "Block this member". You can enter a reason on the next screen (for your reference) if you choose. Then click the "Block Email From..." button.
   Profiles
   How do I replace the NO PHOTO image with my photo at the top of my profile?
    First, you must go to the UPDATE PROFILE page and upload a photo. Profile photos can not be nude. (Implied nudity, or censored photos are acceptable.) Once you have uploaded one or more photos, there will be a link below every photo that says SUBMIT FOR PROFILE PHOTO. You must click on that link one time to request the photo be used as your Profile Photo. SwingerADS admin will review the photo and approve or deny your request.
   How do I send someone a link to my profile?
    Replace USERNAME in the following link with your SwingerADS username:

   Photos
   Why cant I view photos?
    Do you have any of these programs installed and running?

    McAfee Personal Firewall
    Norton Personal Firewall
    Norton Internet Security
    Norton SystemWorks
    Zone Alarm

    If so, you need to lower the settings, add Swingerads.com to the programs trusted list, or disable the program while using SwingerADS.com

   What is a "Primary Photo"?
    Each member can choose one photo that they have uploaded as their primary photo. This photo will be the one displayed at the top of their profile and next to any ads they have placed. This photo can not be explicit and should not contain nudity. The image can not be larger than 400 pixels in height. If it is, it will be resized or cropped to a height of 400 pixels.
   Chat
   I am using WebTV. How do I get the chat room to work?
    WebTV users will need to use the HTML version of our chat room. Since we currently do not have an option for you to permanently change your chat configuration, just email us amd let us know that you want to use the HTML version of our chat room. If you are able to obtain access to the chat room, you can manually change to the HTML room in the Lobby. (There is a small link in the top frame for HTML Chat)
   The chat room says that I need java, what does that mean?
    Most new web browsers (version 4 or higher) have java support. Your browser either has java disabled or does not support it. You can either enable java, upgrade your browser, or use the HTML version of our chat room. Since we currently do not have an option for you to change your chat configuration, just email us amd let us know that you want to use the HTML version of our chat room.
   XXX Photo Gallery
   Why does the XXX Photo Gallery ask for an Adult Check ID, I am already a VIP member?
    The XXX Photo Gallery is designed for FREE members who would like to view pictures, but do not want to become a VIP member. VIP members have their own Photo Galleries in the VIP AREA.
   Site Usage
   Should I log out when I am done?
    You do not have to log out when you are done, but we suggest that you do. The system will automatically log you out after 30 minutes of inactivity. During those 30 minutes though, you will still show up as online to other members. If you log out, you are immediately removed from online status.
   Why do I get a "Session Expired" message?
    In order to keep our Who's Online list as accurate as possible, we automatically log out members who have not been active in the last 30 minutes. NOTE: If you chat for longer than 30 minutes, you may receive a session expired message as the system does not see chat typing as activity. One way to avoid this problem is to use the "Who's Online" feature in the chat room at least once every half hour to view a member profile.
   When I entered my username and password the screen flashed but I am not logged in, why not?
    The most likely problem is that your cookies are disabled. See the Cookies section of this FAQ for more information.
   Zip Codes
   Why do I need to put my zipcode?
    If you are from the United States, your zip code helps us to calculate distances. You can find out how far other members are from you and they can find out how far you are from them. NOTE: We do not display your city, state or zip code information.
   Usernames
   Can I change my username?
    Once you have more than one login, only VIP members can change their username. We do not recommend doing this for many reasons. Keep in mind that opening a second free account is a Terms of Service violation.
   How do I change my username?
    SwingerADS.com only allows VIP members, with 30 days or more remaining in their membership, to change their username. If you are not currently a VIP member, you will need to become a VIP member, and then send your request to us with your old and new usernames. The new username is subject to availablity.
   What is my username?

   Cookies
   Why do I need to enable cookies?
    Cookies allow us to place a small amount of data on your hard drive. This information identifies you to our web site everytime you request a page, search for an ad, or view a profile. Without cookies, many of our features could not work. If you can not enable cookies, or do not want to, please check out our non-cookie web site instead.
   How do I enable cookies?
    If you are having trouble enabling cookies, please click here to view the instructions and Cookie Test feature.
   I've enabled cookies and I still can't get in - what else could be wrong?
    Many people have security software installed on their computers which is very restrictive. McAfee and Norton are two of the largest manufacturers of such software. If you are using any security, privacy, or firewall software, there is a good chance that this software is causing the problem. Email us or contact the software manufacturer to see how it affects cookies and to find out how to correct the problem. Click Here if you are using a Norton product.
   
   Why does the distance column have all question marks?
    If the entire list has all question marks, this is because you are either outside the Unites States, or you have an invalid Zip Code entered in the Preferences section. If your zip code is valid and your distance feature is not working, please contact us.
